What we actually do
A phone has several microphones — one for calls, one for video, one for noise cancelling. If callers cannot hear you but a voice note records fine, that is diagnostic, and it narrows the job considerably.
Like speakers, microphone ports block up. A clean is often the whole repair.
Record a voice note and play it back before you come. Whether that works tells us which microphone is at fault, and it is a test you can do in ten seconds.

Do you send phones away to be repaired?
No. Repairs happen in our shop at 1337 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, not shipped off somewhere.
Can you fix my phone the same day?
Most repairs are. It depends on your model, what is actually wrong with it, and whether we have the part for your phone. Call with your make and model and we will tell you where yours lands.
Is my information safe while you have my phone?
We may ask for your passcode so we can test the phone after the repair, and we do not open your photos, your messages or your accounts — we only check that the repair works. We do not back your phone up, so make a backup first if you can.
Do you repair water-damaged phones?
No. Water damage is not a repair we take on, so you would need a shop that does. If your phone has been in liquid, stop charging it.
Do repairs come with a warranty?
The parts we fit carry the limited warranty offered by the manufacturer of that part, on that manufacturer's terms. Our Refund & Service Policy explains how a claim works.
